Alan Cariddi Jr., Born 1982 was raised in Paris, France and is a dual citizen of France and The United States. He studied History and Studio Arts in College and holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
He has had an eclectic career as an actor and business entrepreneur in California, while never abandoning his love for the creative and design arts. It was after a suffering a serious motorcycle accident, however, that Alan radically changed his life and decided to dedicate himself entirely to his art.
His drawings and paintings spring from his mind spontaneously, sometimes obsessively, grounded in his eclectic background, experience and very personal vision of the world around him.
Fascinated by the world of mathematics, specifically the Fibonacci Sequence and the Golden Ratio, and the “Sacred Geometry” that is found around the world throughout history, Alan Cariddi Jr. is constantly searching for new inspiration and new technical media.
Alan Cariddi Jr. 's work has so far been exhibited in France, the United States, Italy, and China, and he looks forward to the opportunity to meet new people all over the world.
My paintings and drawings reflect the universal language of the ever-present geometry of the world from the infinitesimal to the colossal. I strive to create a space that invites the viewer to lose him or herself in a journey through space and time. My works are grounded in my eclectic background, my passion for world culture and history, mathematical theorems and ratios, and very personal experience of the world around me, with a particular attachment to the Fibonacci sequence and the concept of symmetry, which creates a window into the duality of man.
y objective is to create an immersive experience into the world of beautiful, inconspicuous and fascinating patterns found within the apparent chaos of the world. Separately, I also hope to contribute to social causes that I believe in and support.
