Michal Avrech is an Israeli artist graduated fine arts in Haifa University.
Michal paints acrylic paintings of abstract and dynamic landscapes. The landscape emerging out of energetic brush strokes, thick layers of color and bold mixes it is an inner imaginative thought about the landscape of the world and the landscapes of the soul.
Expanses of fields, forests, rocks, flowers, earth and sky- this is the reality we all know, but for her , it is a way for telling her story, along with the deepest reflections and moments of joy.
The joyful and rich colors of her paintings express also yearning for freedom and calmness. She has been painting since childhood, influenced by impressionist and expressive painters who express feelings and describe the day's changing atmosphere.
For the past 28 years she is also an art therapist, working with youth at risk. Her paintings give her energy and optimism.
In addition, she has illustrated nine children books.
She exhibited in many local exhibitions and in Europe and United States
